Northampton Town Show

Abington Park

20-22 July

This major event takes place over three days in July and includes displays and entertainments combined with arena events and trade exhibits. Craft, horticulture, art competitions, National Farmers Union stand, Shire Horses, bands, performing arts, music - jazz, brass, folk, rock & roll.

Evening concerts and amazing firework displays on the weekend evenings.

Northampton Balloon Festival

The Racecourse Park

17-19 August

The 11th anniversary of this amazing event, which features over 80 hot air balloons making massed ascents at the beginning and end of each day. Take in the exciting spectacle of these giant colourful images decorating the summer sky. Enjoy a full programme of entertainment to keep your feet on the ground - arena displays, roadshows, trades stands and firework displays. Visit the Festival Website for more information.

Heritage Open Days

A weekend of free admission to some of Northampton's most interesting buildings from Norman and Georgian to High Victorian and ultramodern. A free classic bus tour will also operate to Northampton.

St Crispin Street Fun Fair and Market
